I’ve always had a fascination with technology and how it all works. I used to spend ages playing around with our family iMac, trying all the new games and applications that I could get my hands on. It’s probably around this time my interest really peaked in “How are these made, could I make one?”.

That interest continued into my education and college where I studied IT and began looking for a role that I could move into with the ability to start creating things of my own. I was fortunate to find an apprenticeship, starting off on the support desk to build my experience of the client-facing side and troubleshooting steps.

At the end of my first year I moved over to my main focus, the small but experienced development team. Since then in the following years (a long time now I think back) I’ve grown immensely in a vast array of skills and experiences from where I was. Becoming one of the valuable members of the team, known for my commitment to doing things right. Might as well do it the right way or not at all.

With the development of applications to help me and many others on this journey (VS Code, GitHub etc) that are continually improved, there’s always something new for me to learn. Languages such as Python are growing all the time as more people understand how beneficial coding can be to our society. It’s an exciting time and area to be a part of!

Alongside this path I’m looking at developing my love of Photography, which from a young age has been one of my consistent passions. How far this journey can go is to be determined, however, I’ve started by uploading my photos to my own site which you can see on the Photography page.

Be that providing photographs for publication or stock products, or potentially moving into project based photography, I’m open to it all!

I appreciate anyone who has read this far. If your interested in learning more about me and the journey I want to create, feel free to reach me via my details in the footer or using the Contact page.
